Skyhawk Day 8/10/2022
Its that time of year again! The 1st day of school is coming in fast and are you ready?!
Skyhawk Day will be held on-campus on Wednesday, August 10th 11am-2pm.
Join us for PTA welcome and information:

- How to impact our students, teachers, and Skyhawk community at large
C.A.R.E.S. Program will be on-site to talk about their program, accept applications, and provide a walk-thru.
We will also have spiritwear for purchase to show off your school spirit. Fridays are Spirit Days!
There will be food trucks available to sit down and have lunch. We will have Hella Mas Tacos, Black Oak Hot Dog, and More Liife Ice (authentic Italian Ice) available to purchase. And after lunch, stay to decorate some welcome back signs that will be put up on campus (please bring craft supplies).
For those that purchased 1st Day School Supplies, your orders will be delivered straight to the classroom your child is assigned to. So there is “pick-up” during Skyhawk day for you.

Melinda Cassin
PTA President
My name’s Melinda Cassin and I have a fourth grader and a first grader at Silverwood. Being a part of the PTA has been a great way to support not just my children, but the whole Silverwood community with activities and resources. It has also been a great way to form friendships both for myself and for my children. I’m hoping to see more parents come join us this year so that we can continue to add new and fun activities for our Skyhawks!

Hello, my name is Daniel Priego and I have 3 children. Lucas just moved on to middle school this year, My daughter Ariel is in 5th grade, and my youngest son is in 3rd grade. I’m an Army combat veteran, recent law school graduate, and an avid golfer. I’ve been your PTA Vice President before and look forward to serving our wonderful school once again. I’m Gen! Currently have 2 kids at Silverwood. I love volunteering in class and finally took the plunge to join PTA more actively. It is great helping PTA putting events together and seeing the community enjoy them!
