Teacher Appreciation Week | May 5th – 9th

It’s time to sprinkle a little extra love and magic on our incredible Silverwood teachers!
They inspire, encourage, and go above and beyond every day — and now it’s our turn to make them smile!

We’ve planned a full week of easy and fun ways for students to show just how much we appreciate our teachers. Here’s what’s happening:

Monday:

😊 Give Your Teacher a Smile
Kick off the week with a smile! Draw a picture, write a short note, or craft a sweet poem to brighten your teacher’s day.

Tuesday:

🌸 Bring Your Teacher a Flower
Real or handmade — flowers of all kinds are welcome! Let’s fill the classrooms with blooms (and smiles).

Wednesday:

🍪 Treat Your Teacher!
Does your teacher have a favorite snack, drink, or sweet treat? Surprise them with something special today!

Thursday:

🎽 Wear Their Favorite Color or Team Gear
Show your spirit by wearing your teacher’s favorite color or representing their favorite sports team! (Bonus points for giving a high-five to a teacher or helper!)

Friday:

🎁 Gift a Little Appreciation
Wrap up the week by bringing in a small, thoughtful gift for your teacher. It’s the little things that mean the most!

• 📚 Donate a new book to your teacher’s classroom or the library.
• 🎨 Send in supplies for the art or garden program.
• 💬 Share a compliment or kind word with a teacher or staff member — it goes a long way!
