Welcome to Silverwood Elementary School for the 2022-2023 school year!

Silverwood Elementary is recognized as one of Concord’s finest public elementary schools. Our involvement as a community of parents is a critical factor to ensure Silverwood continues this standard of excellence.

The Silverwood PTA provides critical programs and resources that benefit every student.

Your volunteer time and financial donations directly impact your child’s classroom and school – immediately enriching the quality of your child’s education.

Examples of programs and resources that exist only through the efforts of the PTA include:

 – Readers Are Winners/Free Book Program – Playground monitor staff (so teachers can teach!)
 – Hands-on Classroom Supplies requested by teachers – Educational Assemblies
 – Copy paper for homework – Many more!!

State funding alone does not provide sufficient resources to deliver the quality of education Silverwood has historically provided. To learn more about how you can contribute to Silverwood’s PTA and ensure these programs and resources are available to our students, click on the Volunteer page to learn how you can get involved.

PTA members also support the school directly through their volunteer efforts in a variety of areas – in the classroom, as technology gurus, and by helping to organize special programs & events for the students.

Talk with your child’s teacher about volunteering in the classroom and/or volunteer using our Silverwood PTA Volunteer Sign Up page  — there are opportunities for virtually every schedule and skill set!
