“Supporting Social-Emotional Learning at Home”

Come join us for a family-engagement event with play, snacks, and a copy of the book, Jabari Jumps for each family in attendance!

Elizabeth Swanson will share some resources on strengthening the adult-child relationship, building your child’s sense of self and self-confidence, and setting up some family practices and routines to assist your child with a greater understanding of self-control.

When: Wednesday, May 4th from 6:15-7:15

Where: Silverwood Elementary School Multi-Use Room

Who: All Silverwood Families in Tk-5th Grade. This will be a parent and child collaborative event! Childcare and a Spanish translator will be provided.

6:15-6:40 

Adults will participate in a presentation by Mrs. Swanson.

Children will participate in a separate event where the story be read to them while they enjoy snacks and play choices based on interest and age. 

6:45-7:15

 Children and parents will come together for a fun interactive activity.
